Biocompounds is a peer-reviewed international journal established in 2024 and published by Research Expansion Alliance (REA). Published in English, the journal provides a global platform for researchers, academics, and industry professionals working on biologically derived compounds and their multidisciplinary applications. The journal focuses on advancing scientific knowledge on natural and bio-based compounds obtained from plants, animals, and microorganisms, aiming to disseminate high-quality research that bridges fundamental science and industrial applications. The journal encompasses a wide range of topics, including extraction, isolation, purification, and structural characterization of bioactive compounds, chemical, biochemical, and green synthesis, evaluation of biological activities such as antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer effects, drug design and development based on natural products, drug delivery systems, and in vitro and in vivo studies. Biocompounds follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and adheres to internationally recognized standards of ethical publishing. The journal is committed to preventing all forms of academic misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and duplicate submission.

All submitted manuscripts are screened for similarity using iThenticate to ensure originality prior to peer review. Manuscripts must meet an acceptable similarity threshold (typically below 20%).
